Had enough power for radio etc but not enough to crank.. Anyone else?
Roadside came and boosted. Took to service but no update.

Either something was left on or the glove box or under hood light switches are bad causing those bulbs to stay illuminated. Mine sat for 3-4 weeks and fired right up.

Re: Battery Drained over 2 days!

There is an issue with the new JGC mine has been in the shop for three weeks with a battery issue. They say that it is the rear liftgate module. Apparently it wakes up and looks for a key fob causing a slow battery drain. If you drive it everyday you will never notice it. If you let it sit for a couple of days you will have a dead battery. They replaced the liftgate module and I still have a drain. Next thing is the three wiring harnesses that attach to the liftgate. If you have the keyless and go option that may be your issue. I am looking at the lemon law here in about a week if they don't get it fixed

Under hood light switches? I don't have an under hood/engine bay light on my Overland?? Do you?

I did have a battery issue two days into owning the car, but it was blamed on spending several hours with the ignition on without the car running, trying to figure out all the electronics. Dealer charged the battery, cleared the codes, and thankfully its been fine.

Sorry if you've covered this, but is your amp switched with ignition and/or switched receiver?

Ah, they used to be a mercury style years ago. There has to be some short of switch that control the bulb under the hood.

There is no bulb under the hood of WK2's, is there? I don't have one on my Overland.
