I went off roading; here's the proof

Overboostin inspired me with his badass off roading pics. So I went out and tried to capture some of my own. However, I didn't have anybody with me, so I couldn't get any of the extreme moments where I was unable to get out of the vehicle. Anyhow, these will have to do until I get a buddy out there to help photograph (and maybe a decent camera since the camera on my phone sucks).

going through mud without somebody there to pull you out if you get stuck is risky. especially at this site because it's always changing due to the high volume of off roaders that visit it (in other words, if you went through a mud pit easily last weekend and attempt it again this weekend, it could have been dug out by somebody else and you could easily get stuck). anyhow, even when I do have backup, i typically avoid the mud pits because i don't ever clean my vehicle (i've cleaned it twice since i've owned it and that was only to get the love bugs off). also, my ride sits lower than stock, so i'm limited :(

I have to wait until I install neon blue interior lights and carbon fiber like you before I can off road with the big boys.

lulz, i love how somebody who's got 22" wheels and has prolly never off roaded in his life is trying to call me out. I don't have to take the front spoiler off because it's not preventing me from doing anything. The entire time I was out there, I only once scraped it and just barely. A larger concern is the middle of the vehicle bottoming out...

Champ, I wasn't even being rude or wanting to "call you out". But yeah anyway, you lose.

I'd hardly call that losing. You drove up a hill that a 2wd vehicle could get up.

Anyhow... Wow, those are some beautiful pics. They don't allow us to drive on the beaches here :(

In fact no, the 4WD vehicle that is in front of me actually got bogged to the axles (very powdery sand not to mention scalding hot), and I had to pull it out backwards. The guy had no idea and as soon as I released him he hit the brakes and bogged me. Pic here.

ya, sugar sand, when dry, has that effect. a 2wd vehicle still could have made it up that. hard to tell without being there, but the likely reason the guy in front of you got stuck was because he didn't know what he was doing. gotta keep speed on that terrain.
