WK2 Junk in the trunk: version 2.0 - interior storage compatments

I'm always curious to see what people haul around with them .... What do you guys have under your trunk floor?

I'll go first -

Wheel chocks, extra oil, emergency blanket, first aid kit, gloves, rags, hazard triangle, light sticks, extra fuses, random tools, old, well used road atlas.

Interesting bonus - the empty left compartment on the styrofoam jack storage assembly fits two orion 15 minute's perfectly. I'm guessing this area is for the required hazard triangle in Europe.

lol.

I've used everything in there, other than the emergency blanket.

Re: WK2 Junk in the trunk: version 2.0 - interior storage compatments

Sure.

left bucket:
1) Adventure Medical Kit - small first aid kit, personally modified with some trauma blow out gear.
2) OEM land rover wheel chocks out of an old Discovery I had.
3) assorted Bungee Cords.
4) oil funnel, in ziplock bag to keep car clean.

right bucket:
1) yet to be installed front license plate bracket
2) 2 emergency ponchos and a big lighter
3) small box containing extra automotive fuses
4) 3 light sticks

back left:
1) 1qt Mobil 1 oil
2) space/emergency blanket

back right:
1) 1qt Mobil 1 oil
2) 17" highway warning triangle
3) "EzyFlare" LED warning triangle. I took this from work when the manufacturer did a product demo. Works okay, but never used in the "wild".

on top of spare tire:
1) Thomas Guide California state road atlas - retired from daily use, but nice to have.
2) 2 Orion 15 minute flares. I would prefer 30 minute's, but they don't fit as well.
3) cheap 'auto zone' screw driver - has several bits in the handle. (blue handle)
4) generic brand work gloves (sitting just outside spare tire)
5) generic brand red shop towel.
6) there is a dial style tire gauge hiding under the road atlas.

elsewhere in vehicle:
1) surefire LED flashlight
2) spare CR123's in surefire spares carrier.
3) assorted other gear.

I don't have a pic of mine but I have a few baseball gloves for my kids, a baseball, a frisbee, and an extra ratcheting tie down strap that I forgot to take out the last time I went dirt bike riding.

Good guess! But the answer is hot sauce (your own favorite brand).

Why?... in case the trip goes really bad and turns into another Donner expedition!!

That one still gets me!!

for what its worth, whats pictured above it just my normal kit while driving around LA. I travel pretty heavy when going on longer trips or off the beaten path.
