OK OK OK you were right, EBAY LEDS are GARBAGE **PIX**

They've started burning out (first they flicker) and then the diodes fall off due to the heat being too high for whatever shit adhesive they use. Not sure if these are related but the tab on my license light also broke (the plastic became very brittle) and Im not sure if its due to the heat of these cheap LEDS.

I'll be joining the VLED bandwagon due to this experience.

Has anyone bought from super bright LED's? Want to swap all exterior bulbs, except for heads & fogs on my '05 WK.

That's all I have...everything LED is from Superbright. I did mine before I was aware VLED's even existed.

I have had no issues with anything I've gotten from Superbright. They seem to be cheaper too. I was actually on their site today looking to upgrade my license plate lights, but all they have are $20 high power LED bulbs that seem like they'd be too much. Everything else they have (the less expensive types) are all "sold out" or "out of stock", which I swear is a friggin ploy to get you to buy the super hi-powered ones that will probably fail from heat. So I decided to stick to what I know and go back to Superbright. Out of maybe 30 bulbs I've bought from Superbright, I've maybe replaced 2 due to failure.

Hahahahahahahahahaha

V-LEDS

What make it so funny to me is that I remember when you opened a thread about how you liked the eBay LEDs.

People learn from mistakes though. I do all the time.

Are you buying the HP (High Power) LED's? They resist voltage spikes.

of course i did. they were 10% of the price and at the time worked fine. I'd replace them if they were simply failing but melting is a whole different story.

I hear ya on these lights man. Early on, i bought the eBay ones as well. I didnt even have them in more than 1 min - they didnt look like a "good" LED output, so i took them out and never used them. They looked like a VERY weak white, although I've bought other ones that were actually good, which are in my dome lights now. Let me know how your replacements go!
