brake light problems
these jeep tail lights make me crazy, too many problems. Brake lights not working both sides I just replaced tail lights. Tail light bulbs and bulb sockets due to brake lights not working when driving lights were on .... everything was good for two days until someone,s telling me! Hey your brake lights donít work. I replaced bulbs and did continuity test on brake light switch. Found no problems there whay else should i look for please help

If they are screwing up with the lights on and working with them off its still a ground problem.Try running a wire from the ground wire on the brake light socket pigtail to a known good ground and see what happens.
This is what I did. I soldered, tapped and sealed some wires to bypass the taillight assembly design. I was on my 3rd pair of burnt tail lights before I resorted to this fix.
0 problems ever since. I sealed everything so there shouldn't be any corrosion problems. Its not shown on the pictures but I cut the roundish contact points on the sockets of where they meet the tail light prongs.
Should take about 30 minutes to do Botha sides. Hope this helps.
