Everything I have ever read says it does not make a big enough difference, if any, to be worth the time of day.

Re: Nitrogen Filled Tires

Jensen has nitrogen fill on their repairs and new tires or for some high price you can get your tires flattened then refilled.

Personal experience i got 4 new tires on my accord when i had it and it seemed to be a stable pressure year round. Better mpg? if it is its miniscule, like .0001 better.

Re: Nitrogen Filled Tires

all tire shops around me use it now so when i get new tires they inflate them with it. as soon as the temps start to change radically, the pressures change just as they would with air. i also have never noticed any of the tire thread longevity statements to be true either.

Re: Nitrogen Filled Tires

When I had it my air pressure in my tires were ALWAYS stable. They never moved. It was awesome.

And I THINK I got better gas mileage, but who knows since its hard to find places to fill them fully nitrogen

The Molecule are bigger in Nitrogen, so when the cooler temperature comes it won't lower the PSI in your Tires. If you have Regular Air it would drops a little PSI's.

Re: Nitrogen Filled Tires

I think its all bullshit, the prices shops charge are just funny. Its easy to run to the gas station down the road once and month and use their FREE air machine that you set to the psi you want and it auto shuts off at that pressure, did I mention its FREE?

A lot of compressors here are free too.

Re: Nitrogen Filled Tires

I love it, I stop once a month, put in the PSI I want, go around to make sure they are all perfect, and im set for a month, most of the time it needs no air anyway
