Hitch mount RACK options?

Hi there - looking for a hitch mount rack option for my 2011 JGC ... something to carry a couple coolers or overflow camping gear. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I have looked into this also. I was thinking of going for one of the aluminum ones since I'm around the beach a lot. I've never had any experience with these things though. What's a good width for our cars? Should we get one that rides up higher? They all seem to be rated for 500lbs, but are they really that strong? Does the load need to be carefully balanced?

I bought this one:
http://www.harborfreight.com/500-lb-...ier-92655.html

I used an 20% off coupon to make it $80.

I redrilled the hitch pin hole about 10" farther down the big bar, so it's right up near the bumper now.

It only weighs 27 lbs.

These are really nice for our cars. My gas mileage seems unaffected, as the unit stays within the profile of the vehicle. And my cargo capacity nearly doubled. And I can carry all kinds of crazy stuff like 30 gallons of gasoline.

I like it a lot.

I've got that same unit. Used it this weekend on a camping trip and I must say it was the perfect complement to my Thule Atlantis box on top. By itself it adds plenty of space too. I put my loaded cooler, camp stove, and Weber Q200 grill back there, strapped it down with some bungies and had no problems. 500 lbs is the dynamic load rating so keep that in mind. I wouldn't put more than 200-250 lbs on it. The nice thing about it being aluminum is that it is very easy to handle and maneuver by yourself..Off the Jeep and hanging on the wall in 2 minutes. As some Harbor Freight reviewers noted, I did have to cut a couple of small pieces of rubber stock to fill the gaps in the receiver hitch and the post on the rack...not a problem. I'd recommend this unit when it's on sale. Think I paid $89 for mine.
