Re: Questions about lift kits

Naw. You're not dumb. A lot of people are dissatisfied with the RK (Rock Krawler) lift.

I would suggest:

Old Man Emu

or if you're on a budget:

Rusty's
Daystar

Pretty much anything except RK because it's the only lift that I have heard of some users being dissatisfied.

Yeah. That's a lift kit for the WK.

I don't have a spacer lift. Somebody else will chime in and help.

Okk, so that will give me the 3.5" lift.. Thank you very much for the help!

Re: Questions about lift kits

I haven't heard of anyone getting a true 3.5" out of the lift, unless they went with a SuperLift Kit - feel free to correct me anyone. I see all "budget boosts" being under $250 and getting 2". I have the OME (~$750) and you'll get 3" out of it. Anything more is the SuperLift with 4", not sure if there are any other considerations with a 4" lift or not though. Check the forum - LOTS of good info

Re: Questions about lift kits

The RK lift has 3.5" longer strut forks on the front and 2" poly spacers for the rear. I can see why some may be dissatisified for not getting the advertised 3.5" out of it, especially for the price tag, but I knew this ahead of time and have been very satisfied with it. I'm not a fan of spacers, but us WKers don't have too many options. After installing one, I think there really is no difference between the RK lift and any other 2" spacer lifts, except for the price. I just happened to come across a decent price on the RK and went for it.
