Have been loving the first 3 weeks of this car. Here are some pics getting around Queensland in Oz. Weekends cant come around quick enough!

Thanks!

Snipe i cant tell you too much about the nudge bar, it came fitted from the dealer along with the grill and side steps. I can tell you though that it mounts in the way of the two tow hooks so if you need to get snatched from the front you need to remove 4 bolts on the nudge bar and take it off.

Hi Jason

Nice looking machine!

Mine is due in Brisbane in a couple of weeks, sold my Prado a few weeks ago and just in a cheap rental for the time being.

I'm a fellow Brisbane-ite :).......pics look good, where have you been playing?

I'm a fellow Brisbane-ite, my Overland CRD is due Sydney at the end of August. Just curious to know where your shots were taken, are they within spitting distance of Brissy?

Hey aussie, sorry i only just saw your post! The shots are taken at a few different places relatively close to Brissy.

The first pic is between beaudesert and a place called woodenbong, great drive very scenic.

The pic on top of the hill is the springs 4x4 park near warwick, the pic camping on the beach is Kinkuna national park just out of Bundaberg (great spot) and the water crossings is the condomine 14 river crossing track that runs between kilarney and boonah (not far from warwick). That is a really awesome drive!! As long as there hasnt been too much rain and the water isnt too high, but i can highly recommend it! Lots of information on google and also vids on youtube. Could almost make it 2WD if the weather has been reasonable.

I bet your excited about getting your car, I have had mine now coming up 2 months and i still get excited climbing into it every day.

Yeah, the excitement is just something that has to be managed on a daily basis :) otherwise one could go stir crazy! There is just something to feel, shape and ride of this machine that has really drawn me in. Some friends don't get why I'm switching to Jeep as they see me as a conservative buyer. I think they may be quietly watching what I do and may be looking at one for themselves.

Thanks for the locations, I'll suss them out in my travels. We used to camp at Mon Repos just north of Bargara not far from Kinkuna.

I'll have to make time to get away from work and the city - that's going to be the challenge!
