Tire pressures holding
I have been having to fill my tires every 3-4 weeks. One especially every 3! Anyone else notice that the tires are not holding pressure. I am guessing its the valve stems or the valve itself as none of the tires have any nails etc.....
Any thoughts?
Its a Summit w/build date 3/11

I was having that problem also. Found a small screw in between the treads. Spray the valve stems and see if they bubble.

Re: Tire pressures holding
No problems here. In 9 months of ownership I refilled tires once (maybe never).

Re: Tire pressures holding
get some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray it over the valve stems and tyre. Any air leak will cause bubbles, so it can identify a small leak. It is not right, but it could be caused by many things.

Re: Tire pressures holding
Mine have held pressure for 6 months now. Never had to add any air. Do the soapy water thing and find the leak(s).

Re: Tire pressures holding
You could also have a set of porous wheels, or dirt forced into the wheel rim/mounting issues.

Mine has held pressure for 3 months/6,000 miles.

You could try squirting in tire sealer, but its better to have them checked out by a competent tire shop.
