Roadforce Balance on my Chrome Clad Moduflexes
I have the OEM chrome clad Moduflexes and get bad wheel vibes at 60-70, a little in the steering wheel, but pretty bad on at least one of the rears. They almost go away at 75+. Discount Tire, where I got them at, has tried to rebalance them twice, but no real luck. The Jeep dealer, next door, doesn't have the finger plates or any knowledge on the chrome clad wheel issue. I used to deal with an independent tire shop and went to them to see if they had any knowledge of the finger plates or a Roadforce balancer, and they were pretty good. Said they could do their best with a Roadforce balance. I have checked everything that I could check on my own for worn out components and even wire wheeled down the brake and wheel surfaces for my Spidertrax spacers and checked the torque values. Before I drop $80 on a Roadforce balance, is it worth it?
Re: Roadforce Balance on my Chrome Clad Moduflexes
i had ONE that the other way would never balance right. i got a road force, they had to move the tire diff place on rim, viola.
but I paid like 65 with tax.
i drive a toll road daily with 75 speed limit so i had to get it right/ worth it to me/
other choice is PRINT OUT THE TSB from wkjeeps.com that talks about bal;ancing the clads and tell the dealer to get busy. or try the dodge or chrysler dealers in town. someone MUST have that balancing thingy/ you cant have the ONLY set of them in town/
