I honestly don't know so I would suggest you consult the manual to see if other detergents are okay. I would assume using a little less would work fine but I'm not sure how much less. Sorry I can't be more of a help here.

well see...regular soaps foam too much in the HE washers....so I would assume these would too. I guess Ill just stick with tide free and dreft. Thanks!
