Your Opinions Please!!
I can't seem to keep my stainless exhaust tip looking stainless. After just a couple of months, it now has a yellow/gold tinge to it and it looks like crap compared to the chrome on the Jeep(as you can see in the pic). I've tried many things to bring the original chrome color back but have had no luck.

What do you think about going with a "gloss black tip" (powder coated of course) to match the wheels? Any ideas on where to find one? Dimensions are 2.25" inlet, 4" outlet, 18" length.

Its tough to get it to stop turning yellow. I polish my tips quite a bit to try to prevent it. If it gets really bad, I will sand them with 800 to 3000, then polish them with a 3" pad and some rubbing compound. I'm sure it's not the right way, but it has worked for me!

also, dual wall tips wont turn yellow on the outside so that's always an option for ya.

Honestly, try my method first. I was in the same boat as you, i was just gonna paint mine, But with a little elbow grease you'll get them lookin' good again!

Thanks guys, I'll try the sanding thing and see if that works.

Re: Your Opinions Please!!
I would suggest using 0000 steel wood and some QD before sanding. Mine were probably the worst case scenario.
