CruizinKev's Jeep WJ 4.7
So this is my 2000 Jeep GC WJ 4.7 - just bought it 3 weeks ago :D

Installed a new Sony radio and new tweeters in the dash, debadged sides and replaced front & rear emblems with some new ones. I just took off the roof rack for a cleaner "street look".

Also got rid of the stock muffler and replaced it with a magnaflow - but will be replaced with a flowmaster 50 SUV next week
Today I cut the stock exhaust tip and put on a 2.5in/3.5out tip.

I already ordered new outer windowstrips, smoked LED taillights and black 20x9 SRT8 replicas. I also want to wrap the wooden interior with some 3M carbon vinyl and want to paint the headlights black like laredo headlights.
well I got a few more plans for it like Bilstein HD shocks, tinted windows and so on.. :D:rolleyes::thumbsup:

Looks great as does your future mod list! Oh, add a rear wiper arm/blade to it tho! :)

Debadging is a PITA huh? I don't know what they use in that glue, but I'd say it'd survive an atomic blast! :D

Also, be sure to fill/cover the roof rail holes in the roof as they do actually let water in if left open!

Re: CruizinKev's Jeep WJ 4.7
thx :) yeah I'll sand and repaint the rear wiper arm thats why I took off. debadging was pretty easy but I used solvent to clean that glue. yeah I'll cover the roof rail holes, at the moment I just sticked some black electrical tape over them ;)

Re: CruizinKev's Jeep WJ 4.7
time for an update ;)

what it looked like few month ago

I added a magnaflow high flow cat and changed the exhaust tip with the "trans am style" tips that I had laying around.

did some more cutting and adjusting and it turned to that

I heatened the headlight in the oven (220F) for about 5min and opened them. then started with 800 grit wet sand paper. sprayed two coats of high temp flat black and let it dry a day. then put it all back together and put the headlight back in the oven again for about 5mins. that way the glue will hold/stick the parts back together.

blacked out.

here's another before pic.

with the "new" headlights.

ok what else? rancho steering stabalizer, wheel spacers all around, 2" spacer lift and upcountry spring so the Jeep is 3" lifted by now. I'll replace the UC springs with OME 2" springs so my WJ will be lifted 4" soon. anyways, that's what it looks like now.

you see wheels are stock and tiny - I'm using these as wintertires because the tires are new.. for summer I got black 8x16 Soft 8's wheels with 265/75-16 Goodyear Duratrac.

began with the interior sound deadening.

it's like dynamat but this is 2.2mm thick. had my ex-mustang with this and also my 1979 chevy frame off and happy with the results.

pic from work.

yeah ok that's it so far! :D
