Safe Adhesive for Leather Armrest?
I bought an aftermarket armrest (small bean bag type device) to attach to the driver's side armrest on the door. The driver's side armrest on my 2011 Overland is leather (I believe). The aftermarket armrest is supposed to be attached with a Velcro strap which the instructions say is designed to stick to vinyl. The instructions say it can also be removed with Acetone. Before I try to attach this Velcro strap to the leather, I am wondering if it will (1) stick to leather, and (2) damage the leather if I want to remove it? Thanks!

Ask a leather expert not a forum. Acetone will damage leather as will many things, it is very easy to damage using solvents.
