SRT Reps and Offroad Tires

Has anyone gone with 20" reps and offroad/mud tires like some nitto grapplers. I kinda want to do it and was wondering if anyone has done it? Anyone want to throw together a photochop?

Now it is on a WJ but you get the idea...

Ive wondered the same thing. At one point there was a pic posted of a black wk with SRT wheels and some all terrains. It didnt look as cool as i had thought it would, but maybe with some nice side tread from some MT's would spice it up

I've always liked this pic:

Found this one too

But of course it would look much different on a WK with only 32-33" tires

I've often considered the same thing, but I've not seen it done successfully yet?

I've a feeling the WK just doesn't have enough body clearance, and i don't want to start chopping.

Noone makes a rugged tire that will fit the srt reps that will fit a stock WK/WJ. You would need to stuff them and possibly rub or get a small lift.

Re: SRT Reps and Offroad Tires

I think the superlift allows for 35's right? I believe that is the size shown on the JK's above. Im running 32's with my 2" lift with no issues. Would just need to find a MT tire with the right aspect ratio.

That said the next road block is tire cost. 20" MT's arent cheap no matter what size you get. SRT reps are relatively cheap, it's the tire cost that'll getcha!

Once i get back to TX i plan to look into some 16" and probably some duratracs.

These Cooper Zeon LTZ's look pretty cool. They come in a 275/55/20 which comes out to 31.9" tall, so should be ok with a 2" lift. They're an all terrain vs a mud terrain, but they're "only" about $220each
