Any special steps necessary for rear brakes?

My rear pads are just about gone. Not bad considering they're factory and I've got 57k miles on them. Far cry from the old days.

Anyway, what's the process for replacing the pads? Just unbolt the wheel, then the caliper and replace the pads? Or is there more to it? I'm just doing the brake pads, not the parking brake (that almost never sees any use at all).

Usually I sand them with some 120 grit to deglaze them. Also Id do some preventative maintenance and pull the rotors off real quick(make sure you remove the rubber O-ring) to check and make sure your e-brake components are doing okay. My e brake pads became completely detached from the shoes and starting making a weird tinging noise at low speeds...
