WK Rusty Offroad Lift Kit feedback

Was just wondering if anyone on the forum has used Rustys offroad 4.5" lift on their WK. Also does anyone have any feedback on how big of a tire you can fit in there with this size lift? Appretiate the feedback!

pretty sure that should fit right around a 33"- 35" tire with some pretty decent amount of trimming... i cant imagine fitting bigger than a 35" tire under there with only a 4.5" lift, even a 35 is pushing it. Unfortunately our wheel wells are relatively shallow.

If i were you i'd call Rusty and see what the recommended tire size is with that lift...

ACIDCOLD i think has a pretty decent sized lift, i think its ~4" but im not 100% sure... his rig is sweet, im sure he could help ya out.

Rusty's is saying 32"-33" rubber. I'm saving up for it ( slowly....very slowly ).

Don't waste your money on their crap, It's just a re-named Superlift with their poorly designed RLCA and a adjustable track bar which isn't needed.

Superlift should be out with their re-designed kit for our WK's, give Russ a call (4xGuard) for more info.

DGORA- I have 5'' of lift and I should be able to fit 35's with minimal rubbing. The max I would ever go is 285/75/17 which is a 34x11.5 Nitto makes them and I would recommend them.

Well I really want to put the duratracs on it and they have an Overall diameter of 34.1". I know I will probably have to get a wheel spacer but I dont know how much trimming will be needed

With a SL? very little. Just the front pinch weld and you are done.

I have 33's in the pictures and they look tiny, I do have a Rusty's spacer thought.

SuperLift with spacers for more lift.

Re: WK Rusty Offroad Lift Kit feedback

So If i was to mimic your setup for example. I would purchase the 4" superlift system and then additional spacers for front and rear? Also do you have recommendations for changing the struts in front for bilsteins and the shocks in the rear for bilstiens? Or should I just original equipment springs and suspension parts. Thank you in advance for the help

Re: WK Rusty Offroad Lift Kit feedback

You would get the SL kit and get a set of spacers from Rusty's or jeepinbyal.com, They mount to the top of the strut assembly and they level you out. Out back you are fine, no need for any spacers unless you have 300 lbs like I do. Go with Bilstein struts and Superride shocks for the rear, affordable an great quality.
