Re: Brake time!

I got stillen pads metal matrix. Got everything thru kolak.

Done my 98 accent rear brakes today. Drum brakes are a PITA without the tool for the springs. Crazy enough it stops helluva lot better, and replaced a coolant temp sensor and tadah CEL is gone. It's had a CEL up for the last 10years (no lie) It's abit of a beater car till I got it and I need to have it running well for my girlfriend ( and soon me for commuter car) Its got 237k miles on it and still runs strong...as a 90HP car can be haha.

Can't wait to do the Jeeps brakes though... pop caliper off and then rotor... done. No BS that drums have. IMO drums should be outlawed on new cars... I sit and wonder why drums are still on newer cars.
