Anyone else get smacked in the face with the sun visor?

So when we go to fold the sun visor back up in to positon after using it, it pops out of the little clip and smacks you right in the face. Kinda dangerous cruising down the road and getting a suprise like that.

Is that an option? I don't have that feature. Good way to stay awake.

I never position my seat that close to the dash/steering wheel.

I'm 6'1" @ 220lbs so I sit farther back than some. My seat is also slightly reclined.

I sometimes see people sitting really close to the steering wheel with their seat almost straight up (Vertical). They are often tightly holding the steering wheel @ 10:00 and 2:00. I always select a more natural and relaxed driving position for me.

I dont sit that close either because I am 6'1" too but it still gets you, but my wife is short and she sits closer so it really gets her.

Good to know, I too like a more relaxed position but even if it doesn't hit u in the face it would probably startle the sh!t outta me. Plus if my lady was driving it would probably get her good.

I've never got slapped in the face with my visor no, but when flipping it back up it's come off the hook several times.

It is annoying, dealer looked at it the other day while they where updating the programing and just said wow, that does suck. I said, really, just wow that sucks? He says well we can order a new clip. So they did and still have the same problem.

I had it happen yesterday. It did not bother me until I read this post. Crap!

Yep! Right in my face as described above. We'll see if I'm capable of learning that lesson.
But seriously it can be dangerous if driver is unaware.

Re: Anyone else get smacked in the face with the sun visor?

My visor slips off the clip as well when pulled toward me. After careful examination I noticed that the problem is not the clip. It is actually the tubular shaped plastic part on the visor that pushes into the clip. The shape of this support bar (for lack of a better term) is out of round which is why it only clips in securely depending upon the rotation of the visor. Hold the visor in the clip at different angles and pull out. You'll see that when you start to swivel the visor toward you, it will slip out. If the support bar were round, it would say secure. Passenger side works fine for some reason.

It's actually the visor that should be replaced, not the clip. Haven't bothered taking it in for that though...
