Need advice. Is it worth doing this....

Hey guys,

So I picked up my new jeep last week and I noticed a snag...a hole really on the headliner. The dealer said that I could get it replaced, but I'm just worried that my jeep will never be the same. I'm just thinking its not worth the trouble, ie. they make it worse or whatever. Should I just replace the liner or seek some other type of compensation? If I go the compensation route, what is acceptable?

Thanks,
Albert

I had my liner removed to fix a rattle from the DVD cabling. All is well...and I am very picky when it comes to stuff like this.

I would get it replaced and inspect it thoroughly for quality replacement. I had an issue once where BMW scratched my drivers side window during a service and by the time I decided to fix it the dealer said "no, it's been too long since you reported it."

I would say fix it while they're offering. They seem to "forget" quickly.

Pictures not working for me, but if it were me, I'd try to get it fixed/replaced. They should be able to do it well, its been out for over a year now, I'd imagine they have taken a headliner down more then once on the new model

I know! It's a complete eye sore. That's the first thing I look at every time I get in the rig.

I'm just worried about the quality of the work to be done. Can they really make it look as if came straight from the factory? Stupid question?

Umm, how did you get pictures of the inside of my ride? I have the same exact hole, on a 2012. They must carry or mount them with a tool that is sharp because mine is in the exact same place.

Definately get that fixed.

Its like having a crack on the internal wall of you house.

Most visitors would never see it, but every time you sit down, there it is. It will end up driving you nuts.

Get it fixed. That's the first and last thing you will look at getting in and out of the car.

BTW. How's the photography going?
