RHR Audio dimming on vehicle stop

Hi, I just picked up my new 2011 Grand Cherolee Overland last week. It has the RHR sound system, which is great, but one thing is annoying: I swear that it is reducing the audio volume when the vehicle comes to a stop after being at normal driving speed. I know some people like this, but I find it annoying. However, I can't find any documentation that this "feature" even exists, let alone if it is possible to defeat it. Does anyone know if the RHR does this (or am I hearing things?) and if so, any way to defeat it so the volume level from the sound system remains constant? Thanks very much! -Brian

Huh, I never noticed this "feature" in my RHR. I'll need to pay attention, I guess.

Re: RHR Audio dimming on vehicle stop

I typically listen to music fairly loud - not ear-bleeding, but a pretty healthy volume - and when the vehicle comes to a stop there is a noticeable decrease in volume by (I would guess) about 25%. I know some high-end OEM systems will raise and lower the volume to compensate for road and wind noise while the vehicle is in motion, so I'm pretty sure that's what's going on here. But I can't find any documentation on it at all. :-/
