17's......

...Will they fit? I don't really care for the big blingy 18 inch polished wheels and would rather have smaller diameter flat black rims of some sort...

Seeing how you have the V6, 17's shouldn't be a problem. It's WK2's with the Hemi that have the heavy duty brakes with which you wouldn't have enough room around the caliper.

245/70/17 They are the Mickey Thompson special edition tires. They have -12 offset.

So 17" wheels will fit on the Laredo X package? Tire rack only lists 18's unless i choose the base Laredo. Considering running 17s for winter setup.

17x9 wheels -12 offset? If so they must stick out a ton compared to stock. 68 mm offset change alone means they stick out 2.68 inches more than stock if they are 8 inches wide and if they are 9 inch wide wheels they stick out 3.18 inches over stock. Do they hit the fender up top when you hit bumps? 245/70/17 is the same height (30.4"-30.5") but about an inch narrower (at the tread) than the stock 265/60/18 or 265/50/20 tires that come stock so that helps a lot.

Yea the fronts hit when I hit a bump going fast but the other day I put one tire on a curb and it didn't hit. Can someone explain that?
