Did you remove and paint it or just remove it completely? I've been meaning to do that with mine...I'm just freaked out about baking my headlights in the oven...

No I bought new spyder HID lights, heated them with a heat gun and ripped them appart. Let me tell you what a pain in the a$$!!! lol. I opted not to bake cuz I watched a youtube vid of some nitwits melting theirs, I took my time with it...

Looks 1000 times better. You were able to open yours with a heat gun and a lot of patience then? How did you get them back together? Same method? I friggin hate the reflector on mine. Sticks out like a sore thumb...

Yea I heated them back up and resealed with more black silicone, second one was way easier knowing how to get them apart... one key thing to remember rubbing alcohol will clean silicon off plastic like nothing else. Exactly bro love the lights, love the jeep, but hate these damn amber lights!! LOL Your Jeep looks sick bro!!! Love it!!!

I guess I know what I'll be doing Labor Day weekend then...ahahhaah...thanks man!

I might wrap them in CF vinyl and put them back in. I don't think there is anything under my reflectors. Just an open void.

Probably won't work too well with the WJ headlights since the reflector is so deeply set but here are mine with VHT nightshades on the clear layer of the headlights. When I open them up to paint the chrome black I'm gonna put the VHT right on the reflector.

Oh I wish I could get away with just painting the edge of the lens like that...but like you said, the reflector is set in so deep you'd see it...I gotta open them to make any changes.

This pic whore most certainly will...I'll probably even have progress pics as I go. I'm a little leary about opening them, but I think I'll bite the bullet on Labor Day weekend when I can take my time with them.
