AC info
 
99 Grand Laredo,2 wheel drive,4.0......After a while driving ac seems to stop,like a door is closed...turn off and then restarts fine,Any info???THANKS!

Sounds similar to problems I am having with my 2003 Grand Cherokee.

Do you have any pressure readings that might throw some light into the picture? Otherwise won't be able to point you in the right direction.

Does the A/C stop working, or does the airflow stop? Which airco system do you have, manual or automatic zone control?

As Frank said its important to know which system it is dual zone or manual.

Sorry everyone....Haven't been on in a few days....i don't have no pressure readings,It's a second vehicle and used very little this Summer.I do think the air flow stops and not the AC.It is the manual,no dual zone.THANKS EVERYONE!...Rick

Check the connector on the blower motor, many times the connector is melted due to bad contact.
