HID's for JK

I've read a lot about HID's for the JK, but I'm confused about one issue:

Most of the kits I've seen are plug and play, I assume they use the same housing as the original headlights.

Is there a replacement headlight housing better suited for HID's?

You'll probably catch alot of flack from the people who say you can only run HID bulbs in an HID housing. But I ran the the IPF housing with HID's without issue. Never had oncoming traffic flashing me or anything. Made a huge difference though, as far as being able to see more at night. The IPF housings kick the light up on the right sides of the housing so you can have sight of the right hand side beyond the edge of the road.
