Second Skin Damplifer Pro FTW!!!

I'd like to thank ANT and Second Skin Audio for making such great products and also giving them away for free :) since I won a door pack (13 sq. Ft.) of Damplifer Pro from a promotion giveaway over at Stevemeadedesigns.com

I used only Three of Six sheets to do both of my back doors. I have another companies product on my front doors from awhile ago but will be adding some Damplifier pro to them as well.

The Damplifer Pro is GREAT!! Thick Stuff (total thickness = 80 mils) and Sticks to the door really well.

This is what arrived at my door!

Didn't get a roller with it, but I guess you have to purchase that separately...Good thing my brother had one :)

Heres the door with the panel off.

Before I put the damplifer on I removed all the wires and wiped the metal down with denatured alcohol.

Some on the outside

It was pretty dang hot outside so I wasn't thrilled to be outside doing this, but I hurried and got it done, I dont think I did to bad of a job. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing more of this product in the future!!

It's 95% sound quality guys on there, but they know there shit and are usually very helpful (i.e. not cocky asshats). Some insane builds on there too!

My front doors have Dynamat on them from awhile ago. Its much better with the sound deadning on them though.

It almost completely reduces any kind of rattles if you have a system and it also just makes the doors seem more solid when you shut them instead of hearing the metal shake around.

Oh, I'd like that.

my jeep does make a strange rattle randomly, but I think it's coming from the dash-board, could this stuff fix it?

Re: Second Skin Damplifer Pro FTW!!!

If your rattle under the dash is metal haha. If you look through their site they have acouple other products to reduce vibration/noise/heat for other areas of your vehicle also.

Ummm I knew it'd be a little serious lol.

It's nice to know they make good stuff cuz I've been wanting to put something inbetween the exaust and intake manifolds to cut down on the heat making it into the motor.

How much is it to cover 4 doors?

Re: Second Skin Damplifer Pro FTW!!!

The door pack has 13 sq ft and comes with 8 sheets that measure 12" x 20". I was able to do the outside and inside of both back doors with 5 sheets. So I'd say one door pack could do all four doors if you just did the outside part of them.

Door pack is $59.87 plus shipping.
