Aftermarket remote start and HUD

Howdy gents! I am looking to get a remote start kit and I think I can save some money if I go for something after market but I am also looking for something that's fairly good quality. Any suggestions?

Also, after looking at my buddies HUD display in his brand new Camaro I thought it was the coolest thing ever so now I am looking for something aftermarket for my Jeep as well. I've found a few but I'm not sure which route to go. I hear these are very good quality but run about 4 bills.
Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!
P.S. two weeks after purchasing the Camaro he crushed the front bumper after taking a turn to hard and running in to a parked trailer LOL poor guy.

Have you checked with the dealership for a factory install? I had them install a factory security alarm and it's badaz! The jeep has factory shock sensors all over so I can tap anywhere and it's very sensitive. It was pretty much a plug in play install for them.

If they could it would save you from having a big key that does nothing and a key fob. I believe they make a key with a remote start. I'd go the factory route IMO

And the HUD is pretty cool!

I know factory would be the best way to go but I'm trying to save some green here lol. Looking at JustforJeeps it looks like the hardware will run close to $350 if i get the two way upgrade which isn't too bad actually but if i can save i will lol.

DUDE! my factory with install was $350! lol.

but then again, I dont have remote start. Is the j4j factory?

Also, the dealership is able to buy aftermarket kits would should be cheaper and do the same thing just another name.. it doesn't hurt to swing it by and get a quote from them.

Yeah I'm pretty confident I can get it up and running. Oh I see, they're a ways from here. I'm 3 miles from the Utah border.
