WK Horns

The horn on my Jeep sounds really awkward. It is as if only one is working. Are there suppose to be two, and where are they located. I could not see them by just looking from above.
It's been like this since I bought the Jeep as a demo.
Could it be a fuse?

Re: WK Horns

I have had mine replaced three times already under warranty. There is a 'low note' and 'high note' horn. Knowing that, you should be able to tell which one has failed. The dealer every time says that there was water in the horn and it shorted out. The low note always is the one that shorts out, for me anyways. I notice that whenever i go through big puddles on the road, it stops working and shorts. I think the placement of the horn is poor.

Re: WK Horns

It seems that due to the location of the horns, being fitted in front of the front wheel, make them prone to get water inside, thus the malfunction, it was suggested on another forum that to relocate them higher up in the body, would solve the problem.

I can't spell and my grammar sucks, so deal with it! X2

Yup water! I have gotten water in mine a couple times playing in the hills. I'll go from 1 horn to 3 to 4! Now that it's Summer, I have been on all 4s! Soon enough I'm throwing train horns and a compressor in the WK! :D

You guys are lucky! I miss my jeep horn! my mazda only has a High tone horn, nobody takes me seriously!

you could always buy some aftermarket horn, and relocate it to the grille!
