Help Me Save Some $$$$$$$

Hey guys, im killing myself on trying to make a decision with my WK. I LOVE the srt8, and I mean LOVE it. So obviously Im considering an SRT clone.... BUT after adding up costs for parts... labor.... paint... ect, its not a cheap deal.
My other consideration is doing a hybrid off road and SRT. I would buy a new stock 05 front bumper, that fixes my destroyed front end issues. Then I would get the SRT REAR bumper, and do a custom dual out center exhaust into it. Now for the hybrid part.... id get a 2 inch lift kit, 1.5 inch spacers and 255/75/17 Firestone Destination A/T's.
So let me know what you guys would think, my big question is how the SRT rear would look with the stock front end and lift... but I also would love to hear of any ways to save some cash on the SRT8 clone, other then used parts.... let me know guys!

I had the SRT rear and WK front and thought it looked fine! You cant see both ends at the same time and I drive like a fool so youre only seeing the rear as it is! LOL

I don't know.

You could just lift it with SRT reps and A/T or M/T tires. That's the route I want to take.

I was thinking of doing just the SRT Rear Bumper on mine, since I'm getting some work done to it, BUT I want to keep my spare tire (Just in Case). So I'm trying to get a hold of a WH Rear Bumper.

Just something else to consider (Hard to find though WH Rear Bumper)

I dont carry a spare anyway :( lol, I like the idea of the reps with A/T tires but tires in that size are not cheap, and adding the reps and expensive tires would put me in the same range as just doing the srt conversion.

1. Trade in your Jeep
2. Buy SRT8
3. ????
4. Profit (in your case save $$$)

If there's a chance you can do that I think it would be your best bet. You'll be so much more happier with the real thing. I've seen people do the hybrid thing and at the end they just traded it in for an SRT8 and never looked back. Search "relwarc"

I'd love to but my son was just born so the women would never let me :(

How big is that lift with the reps?

Re: Help Me Save Some $$$$$$$

Yes it did. The wheels are not too expensive but the tires are just crazy. Nearly $2,000.
