Ok guys, I haven't posted too much on here but I have been reading quite a bit lately. I'm trying to decide what kind of tires to get for my 2008 JGC Limted. It has 245/60R18 's on now. I have been searching online for tires available in that size and finding out there aren't too many choices. Besides changing wheels to get a different size tire, anyone have any advice regarding tires? I drive mostly highway but I need something that does well in snow and will last awhile. I work in a busy hospital ER and need to get to work when the snow is deep.. Thanks in advance for your replies.. --C

Re: Tires?!?!?
^^ Yep, what they said. Great tire for a decent price. I put mine on in Oct and they absolutely tore through the snow. Very pleased with them so far.

Re: Tires?!?!?
The 2008 JGC Limited has an option for 18 inch rims which the previous owner purchased. herokee+Limited&autoYear=2008&autoModClar==

Re: Tires?!?!?

This link might help. Nitto Crossteks were purchased. I really like those stock chrome 18s btw.

Re: Tires?!?!?
How about a 265/60/18. pretty sure that'll fit. Should be a little over 31".

Edit. I just read the link from the post above. That guy has the 265/60/18 and it looks like no lift. So they should work. And fill in the wheel well better.

Re: Tires?!?!?
Michelin has a set of LTX M/S's that are the size you're looking for. They last 10+ years, 100,000 miles+ and they're good on any terrain. I highly recommend them. They'll also be the best tire for comfort/noise/luxury for highway driving. If they cost more than you were planning on, calculate them on an annual basis or $ per mile driven basis and they'll quickly drop in price compared to the competition.

Re: Tires?!?!?
Yea brother, you dont have to go with the stock size, you can get away with a little bit taller sidewall if it helps ya find a good deal on a set of tires. Just look up what you can fit with the stock suspension
