Matching window tints, help!

Just went to a local shop to have the front windows tinted. I told them to please match the rest of the car. Well, that didn't exactly happen. From the outside they look close, from the inside the fronts are more brown. I'm being picky, but how close to a match can I get? Thanks!

What % did they use?

Not sure, I just told them to make it match. What % should it be?

most places sell 15 and 20 %. the factory is 18%.
also the color should be gray not brown.

i have llumar and its close in shade its 15% so its a bit darker. but the windshield sunroof add light so it perfect to me lol

Looks like I'm going to have them re-do it. It's definetly more brown than grey. The shade seems about right though. How does everyone else's match?

I have Llumar Tint as well. But I got my rear windows tinted with an extra layer of 20% of the rear so the rear is much darker. I like my front windows though with 20%. They should match up well!

I talked to the shop that did my tints today. The owner told me that he must use the "special high end" tints to not interfere with the electronics (TPS). Any truth to this? I personally don't think so...

The guy told me that the tint I have has Carbon in it? I've heard of something like that, but always thought tint was tint also. How much was he going to charge you for two windows?

He charged me 89 for the two windows. He said that it was his best tint, uv protection, the whole 9 years. Just doesn't match and he now wants me to do the whole car to make it match. What to do?

Doesn't make sense to do the whole car just to match it? Can you post up a picture of it?

The inside will look darker than your rear windows since your rear windows were smoked by the factory.

I just picked mine up and I think it looks great, matches almost spot on, from the inside there is a difference in colors when looking out the window though but VERY minimal (I'm over critical) from what it sounds like you should have him remove it and give you a refund. As a side note I got the two windows done for $70 gave him $80 so he got a little tip. Cam-Phone pics...
