255/75/17 fitment??

Will a 255/75/17 tire fit with NO lift?? Already have pinchweld done, and have JBA UCA's so the bolt wouldn't be a problem.

Somebody recently posted that their 265/70/17's fit without a lift so i'd say yes!

Ok, my 2nd question is this. When some WK's get lifted and start having the ABS, BAS, traction control issues. Is this due to the lift, the larger tires, or a combination of both??

Due to the lift. The larger tires will affect your speedo and then transmission shift points will be off,but no affect on the other electronics.

Not my WK but this is 255/75/17 BFG Mud Terrain stock height, no wheel spacers, no pinch weld mod, no rub.

He only cut the bolt. Tires were slightly used but look at them.....they have a lot of tread.

And fact that you did the pinch weld mod.........

You're good to go dude. Congratulations.

Iv got 255/70/17's with the stock hight with no mods, no bolt cut, no pinch weld, nothing. Id imagine with just cutting the bolt you would be golden.

My 255/70 Destination A/T's clear the bolt (which I cut anyway) but rub on the frame at full lock. It actually rubs worse on the drivers' side than the passenger's.

Really depends on the tread depth. If they do rub, it will only be slightly. You'll be fine.

If it does rub, it shouldn't damage anything (might see scuffing on the tread). You'll just hear it and it will probably annoy you. A mud terrain with larger lugs and spaces would probably get chewed up pretty badly.

The inner lugs on my tires got chewed when I let a girl drive it. But not bad though.
