HELP - lift kit issues

Hey guys, i went wheel'n this past weekend and noticed that i bent the outer edge of my rear fenders with the outside of my tires. basically at full articulation the tires look like they are scraping the fender flairs and when the wheels come back down they are pulling the metal away... hard to explain but ive got pics below to show. It looks like an easy fix and only about 1/8 of an inch is rubbing against my tire so if i bend the metal a little, it should fix everything... also, i think its due to the 1.5" spacers i've got on as well so if i swap those out to 1" spacers it should fix my issues.

anyway, i know a bunch of you guys have the same set up i have but i have never heard of anyone have this same issue... check it out, let me know what you guys think, thanks.

A lot of people with wheel spacers run into that issue. Check out my build thread to see how I remedied it. Cut and rolled the fenders. Only takes about an hour. Other thing you should do is longer bumpstops.

What do you think if i swapped my 1.5" spacers in the rear to 1" ?

I think its a good idea. I'm actually doing the same. Swapping my 1.25" spacers to 1" in the rear. I'll see if I can find the link, but what I did was make radial cuts between the pinch weld and then hammer it flat. You'll also need to trim the plastic piece where it angles to the 45*. That plastic piece pops off.

Nope. Leaving the fronts at 1.25". When I did the 1" spacer on the OME HD it pulled he front wheels in a bit. It kind of looks too Mad Max'ish right now with the rears out further than the fronts.

yah i just want to try avoiding cutting up my rear fender... but it seems like i might have to do it

im gonna try and find some rubbery sticky stuff to cover up those cuts ... something that looks nice and clean that could be used on the pinch n weld mod as well.
