9/7 incentives?

Is anyone else waiting to see if Chrysler will raise their incentive offer tomorrow? The $1,000 cash back expires today.

If they take it up to $2,500 cash back, I'll look into a 2011. I'm not expecting that though.

$1001 reasons to buy a 2011 Jeep! That will be the slogan.

my guess is special financing for the 2012's (same as the current 2011 or a tick higher) and the 2011 incentives will kick up prob more cashback ($2k) or special financing (maybe 0 percent up to 48 or 60 months)

Yep, I've been waiting a couple weeks.

As much as I'd like to be one of those guys getting the 4-5k off MSRP deals on 2011 that I keep reading about, the best I can get is Tread Lightly price and if I ask for more off they complain about not making any money and say they won't go any lower. :(

Starscream,

What's the TOTAL MSRP of the vehicle you're looking at (with options)? Holdback is 3% of that number. In my case, I have agreed in principle to Invoice, minus all applicable rebates ($2000 at this point...$1000 Customer Cash, $500 targeted Chrysler incentive and $500 military) and half of the dealer holdback ($730 on an MSRP of $48,645). In addition, 20% off parts and labor for accessories. That equates to a price of $42,798 ($5847 off MSRP). Even if you didn't get the targeted $500 incentive and don't qualify for the military incentive, you should still be able to get close to $5K off MSRP depending on your MSRP. I'm also waiting to see how much (if any) the incentives go up on the 2011s tomorrow. I'm guessing between $500-$1000 and/or 0% to 60 or 72 months. Chrysler realizes we're headed for a second recession if we're not already there and the whole 90-day no payments thing was a clear sign they're worried about sales right now so I think we'll see moderate to aggressive increases in rebates and/or financing.

Re: 9/7 incentives?

I see 1,000 cash offer on the site but when i click on see local offers it changes to 1,500 now. I wonder if that means its switching over to 1,500 cash back on 9/7 or I am reading this wrong.

I hope it's more than $500 :)

Does anyone know what the date is that 2011 Grand Cherokees were built after that means they won't have shudder or need the shudder TSB fix?

thanks

There are two. Here you go. First is the transmission and the second is the steering wheel.

Applies to those built before July 26th, 2010.

I just looked and it's still $1000. Some regions have an extra $500 like South Carolina zip codes for example but the general rebate is still showing as $1000 expiring today. Checked Edmunds as well as Jeep and reset my cookies as well to make sure it wasn't pulling from cache. We'll find out soon enough :) I hope it's more than $500 too but anything is better than nothing since I'm taking delivery of my Jeep this Saturday.
