I have an 03 WJ stock height and I'm looking to get a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift kit for it. any ideas? I'm hoping that they aren't too expensive but i'd rather get a kit instead of having to search for individual parts. Thanks for all suggestions.

There was a guy selling a 2" kit, if you interested in a little umph!

Once you get to the 3"+ of lift, the price starts to go up very quickly as you need to replace more things than just shocks and springs.

I would recommend deciding how much you want to spend and then look into the price of replacement parts to get 3"-4" of lift.

In the end I guess price isn't really a huge concern. I just know that I would like atleast a 3" lift. I've just been unable to find anywhere be it online or elsewhere that sells anything over a 2" kit

Well hell if money's no object and you want to get serious about WJ suspension then this is THE place.http://claytonoffroad.com/product_in...roducts_id/176 and this is what you'll get:

Also Rusty's off road sells a decent 4.5" kit for less than half of the above kit http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...y_Code=wj_kits This one is probably going to be the next stage of my Jeeps evolution unless I hit the lottery. Then I'll buy the Clayton kit along with a new Rubicon:D

as nice as that looks that may be just a bit more than im looking for at the moment. I don't quite need it to do all that. I leave soon for bootcamp and im just looking for a little lift so I can get it offroadin before I leave

This is what I have on mine http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...y_Code=wj_kits This is about as high as you can go without getting into the big buck territory. No spacers, new springs and you can run a 30.5" tire.Just spring the extra $130 for the adjustable trac bar. I wish I would have.

Re: '03 wj

do the springs come with the kit? would it do me any additional good to get spacers? and do you know by any chance which trac bar I would need to purchase?

Springs are included.Front adjustable track bar for a WJ.Everybody makes one.JKS is supposed to be the best but who knows.I was thinking about trying to stack 3/4"spacers on top but it may come close to bottoming out the shocks. Still up in the air on that one.

Re: '03 wj

thanks for all the help. I'd like something more than the 2 1/2" lift but based on the prices I may just have to settle on that for now.

I have to ask, have you ever really taken your Jeep offroading? You will be VERY surprised where it will go in stock form with just a nice set of tires. Just 2.5" of lift will get you into (and out of) a lot of places.

The next thing you'll notice is that your cross member is going to be the limit on what you can get through. With that 4" lift kit you linked in your other thread, it has spacers. Point being, buying a 4" lift kit and dropping the cross member 1"+ isn't helping do anything except get bigger tires.
