Seat Belts Are Unusually Short...

Hi there, I just registered onto this site and I would like to ask if anyone has an issue or noticed the seat belts for the front passenger and driver are unusually short in length. There is this 2005 jeep grand cherokee 5.7 I want to buy but I feel a bit tight with this seat belt. Is there a way to replace it with a bit of a larger one?

Any help would be appreciated.

they are fine for me and all of my passengers....... you can always buy a seat belt extender?

I am 6'5" 300lbs and have no issues with my seat belts.

If your of the smaller persuasion you may have a seatbelt issue, if your on the + side then you may need a seat belt extender.

You could also try moving the seating position around a little to see if that helps.

Since the seatbelt mounting locations are fixed, moving your seat up/down forward/back could by you an extra few inches.

Even though this is an older thread, I agree. I'm 6'4" and run about 330 these days. The belt is real snug, but I make it work (lower it on the B-pillar all the way). It is however much tougher when layered up in the winter.
