WK2 Hemi Taper ported throttle bodies now available

http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread...433#post484433

Havent done any yet but the part number Im told is the same as the WK/LX Hemis. Right now I have 1 core unspoken for. As far as I can tell, this will fit on the SRT's too.

What type of performance gains would you expect from a job like this? (not intended to be a sarcastic question)
Looks pretty nice BTW.

I did not read into you question as sarcastic, it is a legitimate question to ask.

This is what I have heard from WK1 owners. Obviously the WK1s are different, but use the same throttle body.

The biggest difference is at part throttle, the truck will be more responsive and will require less throttle to get up to speed.

The dreaded ETC lag that so many complain about is said to be reduced some, although NOT eliminated.

Many have seen small, but distinguishable gains in gas mileage (1MPG). If you are laying your foot in it all the time after the fact, this will not be the case.

Improved WOT performance also seems to be apparent, although not as noticeable as part-throttle.

Hopefully WK2 tuning is not too far away, as in the past these have shown best results with a hot PCM calibration. Tuning is NOT required, but in the past it has helped.

Edit: Moosehead just ordered one...so once I get it out to him I'm sure he will have some feedback.

cool, thanks for the feedback. This is my first v-8, so i'm still learning about all the little tweaks that can be performed on these big motors. I had a WRX with 16psi of boost for the past 7 years... i'll have to keep this on my list.
