headlight tint/cover

looking for some pics and info on headlight film and/or tinted covers. wondering how much light output they defer even with hid's.

i had the gunsmoke against my HID fogs and to me it took away a good amount of light output. I think they said it cuts down 10% of the light but i think it took away a lot more. Took it off after a day of use.

@ tydalls: thanks maybe i didnt phrase my question properly. i know what the tint film is ive used it before on my old tail lights but wasnt sure how much light output it actually took away being that hid's have a much stronger output than brake lights do. was hoping some people had before and after pictures of the output.
@ davy27: yea i was figuring it was going to take away a lot, just wasnt sure how much.

VHT Nightshades is pretty easy to use. Allows you to determine how light or dark you want them based on how many coats you put on.

too much :D Just say no to headlight covers!

If you want to darken the headlights you could paint the housings. That way you get the badass look without sacrificing any light
