5.7 & 6.1 HEMI program.

I've had alot of people inquire about getting their Hemi throttle bodies ported. I've shyed away from doing so because the drive by wire system makes me nervous.

In a fit of bad judgement  , I have decided to quit being a pussy and to start porting for you Hemi guys.

I haven't done one yet...I need one for R&D purposes.

The first person to sign up for getting their TB ported will be charged ONLY 20 dollars*. This INCLUDES shipping. Basically, I would be porting for free. Because this is a R&D piece I would not ask for a core as partial payment. Just send me a Hemi TB, I do all the hard work, and you report back to me and let me know how it is.

*or more for overnight/long distance shipping

I think they're 70mm now. How much of a change are we looking at and what would be the turn around during your R&D time?

No they aren't, they are 80mm.

The blade would stay the same size, it would be knife-edged. The main "changes" would be the inlet would be enlarged as far as I can take it, and the backside would be enlarged to however large the intake manifold inlet is.

I can start and finish the porting within a few hours... most of the wait would be due to shipping both ways. So call it a week, from the day you ship it out.

I'd love to have a spare Hemi TB here so there is no downtime, but right now I just can't afford it.

I currently have a b&g pcm. Will it relearn the change?

Excellent.

Is your PCM flash dyno-tuned? Do you have any means of monitoring AFR's (wideband O2 sensor/gauge) ?

Your closed loop tuning (cruise, part throttle) will be just fine. Your open loop tuning will adapt to some degree....but depending on how the Hemi reacts to the newfound air coming in, it will likely lean out by a little bit. Provided your PCM flash is safe as it stands right now, you'll be fine.

Honestly, from what I have seen, the biggest difference in throttle body porting that I have seen thus far has been part throttle driving. The adaptives will likely change in closed loop to maintain 14.7 AFR, which will change open loop AFRs slightly.

My pcm is a flash tune. I currently don't have anything to monitor AFR.

I know, I'm familiar with B&G. Sending you a PM now.
