plasti dip question-edit-results

after looking at al the plasti dip pics...I've decided to plasti dip my wheels, gas cap, possibly my grille and the pillars on my silver wk.

My question is...how man cans should I buy? I assume I will be buying on Amazon.

Thanks!!

EDIT!!

alright guys, Im all done. I could only buy 3 cans because thats all that was in stock, and ended up running a bit short but thats ok. Below are the final pics.. I will be cleaning it up a bit when I get more plasti dip.

also, I apologize for the crappy pics and the jeep not being clean at all... just quickly took after I finished

Re: Plasti dip question

2 cans is about enough to do all the wheels, When I was painting my wheels and grille I use 4 cans, but I'm also not very good at painting but I did use about all of it. I would buy 5,6 or 7, just to be safe and have some extras if I decide to paint something else, or re-do my painting on whatever.

I would first say check with your local Home Depot, or Lowes (mine only had the dipping cans, but had some spray cans in storage)

x2 on checking at your local Lowe's or Home Depot, maybe even at Ace Hardware. I've even seen it at Oreilly Auto Parts and Advance Auto.

I'd grab 3 - 4 cans just to be safe. They only cost a couple bucks. Plus, you can never have too much Plasti Dip laying around :)

Found one can at Ace Hardware=9.00. Menards had a whole bunch=6.00. Its worth looking around for the best deal.

Thanks a lot guys! I go to school in a small town so it may be smart to use Amazon.

If seen a picture of a silver Jeep with the rims and gas cap done...I'd like to see the grille and pillars too before I try. Iv seen on white and looked great
