AC quickly cycles on/off?
This just happened yesterday on my 2011 Overland with hemi: the AC cycles on for a couple of seconds, off for a couple of seconds. I can hold my hand in front of the vent and feel cold, room-temp, cold, room-temp air.

I was cruising at a steady 55 MPH. The climate controls were set for manual (not auto), AC, and panel mode. I had TSB 18-035-11 done a few weeks ago.

Anybody else?

Re: AC quickly cycles on/off?
Quick cycling AC is normally caused by low refrigerant charge.

I get it all the time normally going from a stop to start again.

Re: AC quickly cycles on/off?
Low charge. AC systems are closed systems and should never need recharging. There's a leak somewhere but in a car they are very hard to find. Recharge it and if it's a slow leak and you have to only charge it once a year or so go with that. If it's a larger leak you may need to have the leak found and repaired. If it's in the evaporator under/inside the dash, it gets expensive.
