Sony BT3900U - Pandora!, Google Maps Navigation Build...
Needed to do something with my nav bezel, after watching youtube reviews of aftermarket nav options I decided to do a DIY Android based build for nav. So below is part one, now just looking for a 5" or 7" tablet to run the nav, movies, whatever.
I let go of my Sirius sub and picked up a Sony MEX-BT3900U head unit so I can stream audio from my cell via blue tooth (all I really listen to is Pandora these days) - works great - very pleased.
I'm not an audio guy so I'm not picky on brands, they all play music to me, the Sony was cheap, 2011 model, and supports the audio streaming, so it worked for me.
So once I grab a tablet, ill run a fixed mount out of the bottom pocket (lower DIN - under the radio) for a nice clean install - will update this thread when I get around to that. Google Maps will grab a wifi connection off my rooted Google Nexus 4G :)
