Locking Lug Nuts

I want to get a set to protect my new 18" Mopar rims and all the OEM 20" Overland rims. Is there a brand which is better than the ones the dealer sells or will those be sufficient ?

Oh man there is a lot of options haha.

1) What size do I need to get?
2) Which system is the best in your guys opinion?

Re: Locking Lug Nuts

I got a set of take-offs from eBay for about $19 shipped. Don't know why someone would have take offs, but they were OEMs and were in the opened original packaging along with the unused registration papers. They looked like they had been installed, but were not blemished or damaged that I could see. I immediately ordered a duplicate key which cost almost as much at the entire set. I still see them from time to time on eBay for the same price.

X2 on the McGard. I had the McGard spline drive on my old car. They do offer different colors to, if your into that sorta thing.

I know it is a bit overkill but I think I will go with the full set (20 nuts). After watching some youtube videos it doesn't seem all that hard to get the wheels off when there is only one on. Having to do it 20 times will probably deter anyone.

Yea with most of the safety lugs you just have to hammer on the socket and off they come. Doing that 20 times would definitely be a deterrent.

There is also a method where you over tighten the other lug nuts and it makes the locking nut loose enough to come off. (Not tired this just read and been told this)
