Ride height with Bigger Tires

i have a question, if i have normal 265/50/20 tires and have s ground clearance of 10.7 inches as said in advertising and i change them for 275/55/20 which are 1.5inches bigger does the normal ride height changes? also does the Off Road 2 height changes to 12.2inches high?
this is because the tire is bigger than the stick one.
Is my calculation correct?

No, If you go to a tire that is 1.5" bigger in diameter, your ride height increase is half that, .75".

This is because only half of the wheel is below the axle and that is all that is relevant in regards to ride height. The off-road 2 setting would be closer to 11.4".

Re: Ride height with Bigger Tires

Your Jeep will probably ride a little softer due to the higher sidewall also.
