2012 Off-Road Adventure II Package Tires

Does anyone know what type of Michelin tire Jeep uses for the 2012 Off-Road Adventure II Package? The Jeep.com site merely says:

Quote:

18-Inch x 8.0-Inch Aluminum Polished Wheels
Michelin Brand Tires
P265/60R18 OWL All Season On/Off-Road Tires
I'm hoping that they're decent for Winter use. Otherwise, they'll be replaced by Blizzaks when they're brand new. :( I plan to get a set of 20 inch wheels with performance tires for Summer use.

Do you know which flavor of Michelin Latitude is used?

Nevermind. I found another thread where someone said it's the Michelin Latitude Tour. Looks like I'll be buying some Winter tires right after I take delivery of my Overland.

Latitude Touring 265 60 18 --- I took them out on a dirt road with a few rocks ... got all chewedup ... my advice is take it streight to Discount tires and have them swap them out. I had michelin credit me back about 60% and purchased some 285 60 18... A/T tires ... drives better and took it off road .. and its a night and day difference.

Good luck..

How'd you get Michelin to do that? Are warranty claims really that easy?

they were pretty chewed up after a light off road trial ... and I had less then 5K on the tires. Discount tires did all of the work. Honestly Michelin did not have a leg to stand on.
