Just finished installing the black mopar side steps very easy install took in total about one hour. If you are carefull and patient you do not have to remove the plastic rivets to remove the rocker panel. The brackets will fit into place without removing it, its very easy. I went with the black instead of the chrome because i think it blends in nicer. Plus they will match my black mopar wheels that i have on order :D

Just wondering if these help with door dings from other parked vehicles?

Not bad! Can you post a pic when you get the new wheels? I'm interested how things look with the silver paint.

Congrats,

look very good. Did mine last Saturday and wasn't too difficult.
Did it also without removal of the lower trim. Only difficulty was to hold the screws with a plier while tightening them.

Anyway, worth the effort and helpful for the kids to get into the car.

I got them at my local dealership for about $ 360 but there was a 15% Discount on them.

Happy Holidays
Alex

I've been struggling with the decision between these and the rock rails. The rock rails are overkill for my needs, but they sit tighter to the body, which I like.

Hey I just got the chrome side steps. I was wondering if you have to completely remove the oval rubber plugs or just make a hole in them. The instructions were not very clear.
