Brake release at stop light

When I come to a stop at a traffic light and have to sit for 15 seconds or longer I notice the vehicle starts to cheap forward. If I push harder on the brake I can stop it. If I come to a stop and press more firmly on the brake this does not happen.
I had a master cylinder go bad on another vehicle but no matter what the brake peddle would go to the floor slow.

Anyone else have this?

are you sure that you are not removing some pressure during that 15 seconds ? I will try to pay attention today to see if I experience the same thing.

I have not had it on my Jeep but, I did have something very similar a few years ago on another car that was the brake booster.

ok so I sat at a driveway for a good 3 min and I did not experience any variation in the pressure that needed to be applied. I would take it to the dealer ... it did not sound normal when you first posted ... and it does not seem normal now.

I will be sure to tell the dealer. This has happened quite a few times and I now check it almost each time I stop.

I will report back after the dealer looks at it.

It's OK with your car, don't waste your time at dealership.
The vehicle starts to cheap forward because during the stop a\c pump (most likely) turns on and engine idle rpm grow up a little so the car begins to cheap.
