Help with Compass
I have a problem, my compass just stopped working.
My evic only reads temperature now and the compass side is completely blank, I have tried the recalibration but after holding the C/T button for 5 seconds, the evic pops up something (I will take a picture) I can't remember what is says but anyway, It's not the recal screen.
I am wondering if it might be a fuse or something? My homelink gave out as well, not sure of they are tied in together.

Does anyone know the location of the actual compass sensor?

Re: Help with Compass
I have never heard of this either... if half of that display dead? like if you go to menu options does it display in that portion of the display?

I would HIGHLY doubt its just a fuse, the display either has its power or doesnt, if its not there then nothing works.

Mine actually quit working the other day too. I thought it was maybe related to the Thule rack I installed, but I drove around the block and cycled the display through the mpg/fuel remaining and trip set and hit c/t and it was working again. In my Bonneville I had to drive in a circle to reset the compass so I was thinking the WK may benefit too.

Really looked weird with only the temp displayed.

Good luck,

Re: Help with Compass
Mine is dead, just shows the temp, no biggie.. She is being striped of parts as we speak, I am done with it.

Re: Help with Compass
Sorry for bringing up an old thread but the same thing has happened to me. Anyone get this fixed yet? I have a 06 Grand Cherokee Overland and the compass did not display this morning. I tried looking through my manual to find the fuse but nothing sounded like it would be for the compass. Searching hasn't found anything yet either...
