still have the shake in the front...

so still tryin to figure out what the deal is with my front end... its not that noticeable, but enough for me... its only when i get above 60ish till about 75 or so ... its a 06 WK Limited Hemi... so at this point the only thing i have left to do with the front is replace the shocks/struts..

any other ideas as to what it might be? also i have had the tires balanced by 2 different places, the alinement done 2x's... the the bushings on the front sway bay was the last of things to be done and that was about 3 months ago.

so im at a loss right now...

I know my wk wondered at highway speeds with the tires that were on it when i got it. They were brand new. I would not call it a shake tho...sorry that proly doesn't help you.

naa, im pretty dead on even with the tires i have on it, just some BFG AT's, but its a actual shake, not much but enough.. and enough to where i can tell when i run my hands across the front tires and you feel that wave in it... but i have done everything normal that should of made it go away.. so guess after i change the shock/struts and see if that works.. plus its about time to change them anyway..

Road force balance would be my suggestion... Just because the tires are balanced weight wise doesn't mean the tire is perfectly round. Aroad force balance will do 1 of 3 things... 1 just make it better but not perfect, 2 not do anything 3 fix your concern. No matter what it it will rule them out as the problem.

shimmy at that speed with the srt8 guys has been either:
1) tires/wheels
2) transfer case
3) drive shaft
4) lower control arm

Are you running OEM chrome-clad rims? They have problems with standard balancers and a Roadforce balancer is the best shot. Maybe try something simple like swapping the wheels around to see if it gets better or worse. Any vibes from the rear? Other than that, it could be a worn out U-joint or CV joint.

well, i dont know anyone here that does the road force balance, the down side of being overseas...

and i am runnin the oem wheels, and i have rotated them 2x's now and its just the front the rear is good... i will have to check the LC and TC this weekend and see if thats a possibility.. what should i be looking for, i mean i know obvious stuff, but something that maybe easy to over look?

I have also heard of vibrations caused by worn axle isolator bushings. Wont hurt to look and make sure they are not cracked.

Are you talking about the front or rear isolator ? I am guessing you are talking about the part that is bolted to the rear or front differentials right ?

Did anybody every experienced vibrations created by these parts ?

I am a vibrations on my WK also. Wheels seems out of round and very hard to balance. I am pretty convinced that my problem is coming from the tire/wheel but I would be curious to see if these isolators were bad.

Ok, so i think im goin to get screwed and end up paying out of pocket now to get this fixed... and im pretty sure its the LCA bushings... so i guess i will try that and see, and go from there i guess. so where would be the best place to get those parts being that im overseas?
